Boxed Limited Edition

Traveler is an visual exploration of the journey transcendent, becoming personal pilgrimage and spiritual quest. The hand-printed photographs are sequenced as a palindrome and the theme is echoed in four classic haiku. This sequencing and the bilingual design allow Traveler to be experienced as a traditional Japanese book or left-to-right, western style.

Traveler contains thirty-six archivally toned original silver gelatin photographs taken in Japan by Geir Jordahl and is hand bound and boxed by Don Drake. Traveler is bound and boxed in Japanese silk. The text is printed letterpress in both English and Japanese. This is a limited edition of 50 hand made books.
